Seeking Proposals for PV Solar System

The Town of Ulysses (Tompkins County, NY) is seeking proposals from qualified solar contractors for the design, procurement, installation, and commissioning of an approximately 44.5-kW ground-mounted solar PV system at our Town Barn site, 3888 Colegrove Road, Trumansburg, NY 14886.

This is a well-funded project, supported by a NYSERDA Clean Energy Communities grant and the NY-Sun program, with a potential federal ITC direct pay incentive as well. The project is structured in two phases — Phase 1 covers system design and NYSEG interconnection application; Phase 2 covers full installation — with a target completion date of December 31, 2027.

Please note this is a public works contract subject to New York State prevailing wage requirements under Labor Law Article 8.

• RFP Issue Date: April 16, 2026
• Optional Pre-Bid Site Visit: Wednesday, May 6, 2026, 1:00–3:00 pm (3888 Colegrove Rd.)
• Questions Due: May 13, 2026 — submit to bsandler@taitem.com
• Proposals Due: 4:00 pm, Friday, June 12, 2026
